I was so lucky!

The story started last week when my IT teacher, Mr. Tony told me he had the new system for Mac and was willing to install it for me for free! I thought to myself, “How lucky could I be, to have such a good teacher in my life!”

I brought my laptop to him the next day, hoping that my computer would soon process as fast as a new one. However, to my dismay, Mr. Tony called me after school and told me that my DVD drive was down. That meant my computer was unable to read DVDs anymore. I was so frustrated! Even after reformatting, I could not install any software into my computer. Now thinking back, perhaps it was because of my little usage of the DVD drive, I did not even realize it was spoilt.

Having no choice, I had to repair it. However, after checking with the Apple Company, I needed to pay at least 500 dollars to get my laptop repaired. This was a price way even more than the worth of a DVD drive and I thus took the advice Mr. Tony gave, asking me to buy an external DVD drive which only cost 100 dollars. Even though it was still not cheap, at least that was much lesser than 500 dollars.

My friend Matthew promised me to help me buy it over the weekend since the store was near his house. Even this was not to be, because of some of his personal reasons. In the end, he did not manage to get it for me during the weekend as promised. (But matt is a NICE guy! it is because we dono the operating hours of the store and never ending remidials~~)

That was when I decided to buy the drive by myself today after school.

With my last ounce of patience, I inserted my Wang LeeHom DVD into my drive, hoping that it would play. Thankfull, to my relief, the DVD played! What a miracle! I simply could not believe my eyes. Oh my goodness, it saved me 100 dollars!

Finally the air-conditioner was on for my class! My class is the only class, which has the privilege to enjoy air-conditioner!!!!! haha!
